Responsible for working closely with 15 international markets to deliver Tourism Australia’s International Media Hosting Program (IMHP), Minta will outline how the Global PR team implemented an effective framework for visiting journalists and broadcast crews. She will explain the ongoing education program for international colleagues and reveal some of the wins and challenges of minimising risk for the IMHP, to maintain consistent and cohesive comms and messaging across multiple Markets.

The Falls Music & Arts Festival  - Moving a Music Festival in A Day

In late 2015 the Victorian leg of the Falls Music & Arts Festival site in Lorne was threatened by bushfires that  ravaged towns on the Great Ocean road. Late on the 26th of December the call was made to move the festival to an entirely different location over 50km away, with the event opening to patrons at 10:00am on the 28th of December. Stacey details the communications / PR process she and her team followed, the key decision making, challenges, techniques and avenues that were utilised to get the right information to the 16 500 patrons attending the event, key stakeholders and media.
