Kate Goldsworthy

Head of OHS, Fairfax Media Events

Kate is a strategically focused  Health & Safety professional with over 10 years of experience in the Health & Safety  & Human Resources sectors. Kate has had experience working in a variety of different sectors including but not limited to Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, Production, Media, Professional Services and Event Management.

In 2011, Kate joined Fairfax Media after two years working as Human Resources Business Partner for Nespresso in London. Whilst working for Fairfax Media, Kate is responsible for the development and  implementation of the corporate health & safety systems, health & safety reporting and providing health & safety advice to management . In 2017, Kate was promoted to the Head of Health, Safety & Risk for Fairfax Events. In this role Kate has been tasked with designing,  developing and implementing an events specific  Health & Safety management system in addition to improving the safety of workers, visitors and volunteers working or visiting a Fairfax event.

Kate holds a bachelor degree in Occupational Health & Safety, a Graduate certificate in Management and is in her final year of completing a Masters of Business Administration .
