ROGER FIELD

President, Live Nation Asia Pacific

Roger Field started his career in ticketing, first with Stoll Moss Theatres in London in 1995 and then with Ticketek when its Victorian operation opened in 1996.

During this time, Roger was responsible for business development, working closely with promoters and venues. In 2000, Roger took up a role with the Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust as box office manager, before assuming responsibility over ticket operations, corporate sales, event marketing & merchandise.

In 2003, Roger joined concert promotion business Michael Coppel Presents. During his seven-year tenure he oversaw ticketing operations for the business, as well as sponsorship and commercial operations including V Festival, which was a joint venture with Virgin Management.

In 2010, Roger joined colleague Luke Hede in opening the Live Nation Australia and New Zealand office, and in 2012 the business acquired Michael Coppel Presents.

Promoted to Chief Operating Officer in November 2014, Roger is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer Live Nation Australasia. The now 60 strong work force has tripled under Roger’s leadership, and the business has diversified with a thriving VIP offering, brand partnerships with the NAB, Telstra and American Express, as well as a hugely successful touring roster.

Live Nation Australasia continues to lead the way in adapting to the increasing demands of the touring business and has formed strategic partnerships with government and private entities such as Unified and Secret Sounds to operate venues such as Palais Theatre (Melbourne), Spark Arena (Auckland), Fortitude Music Hall (Brisbane) and launch new festivals Download and Festival X.
